What Is Meditation?
According to the Cambridge dictionary, meditation is defined as “the act of giving your attention to only one thing, either as a religious activity or as a way of becoming calm and relaxed.”
For me, awareness is the word that comes to mind when I consider the meaning of meditation. Regularly being in a state of awareness, both of yourself and your surroundings, trains your mind to be more present in your daily life. This can be useful as a relaxation and a tool for change for those who struggle with anxiety, depression, or high levels of stress.

How To Meditate
